León Ferrari: Memories of my Father

Argentinian León Ferrari (b. 1920 – d. 2013) inherited the combative and resilient spirit of the last century’s avant-garde movements.

The artist developed a body of work that goes against all forms of repression of freedom, and takes a critic and ironic position against contemporary society alienation. These characteristics of the artist’s production are fluently approached by this curatorship, signed by Carmen Aranha and Evandro Nicolau.
