Lucas Arruda: Deserto‐Modelo

“Deserto-Modelo” is a site-specific installation project developed for one of the Pivô Pesquisa exhibition rooms.

The exhibition includes the artist’s recent research with projections of painted slides and paintings from 2014 and 2015. Arruda (b. 1983, São Paulo) is known for his exquisite painting technique, specially for his oil on canvas works where images of distant horizons and binary compositions suggest a sensation of gentle transition of colours.
