Luiz Paulo Baravelli

This is the third retrospective dedicated to celebrate Baravelli‘s (b. 1942, São Paulo) 50 years of production — the other two were presented at Marcelo Guarnieri Ribeirão Preto and at Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz, located in the same city.

The emphasis of the São Paulo show falls upon the artist’s paintings; the exhibition displays 60 works, comprising 10 “pinturas/recortes” (“paintings/cuts”) and 50 studies and drawings made from the 60s until recently.
