In his new show at Virgilio, Gurfein (b. 1963, Argentina) exhibits around 20 photographs created with Instagram portraying everyday elements with a strong colour palette — one of the main characteristics of the app.

The images is presented in thematic groups and explore the procedure of transposing something that’s merely virtual to physical reality. The Argentinian artist lives in São Paulo, and has been working as photographer for 35 years.
