Rodrigo Garcia Dutra

The show concludes a three months artistic residency experienced by Rodrigo Garcia Dutra (b. 1981, Rio de Janeiro) at Phosphorus during the months of February, March and April, 2015.

Rodrigo Garcia Dutra (b. 1981, Rio de Janeiro) holds an MA in Fine Arts with Central Saint Martin of Art and Design (London), and has received the Lismore Castle Scholarship. He was awarded prizes by the Bienal de São Paulo Foundation, Brasil Arte Contemporânea Program, among others. Among his recent exhibitions, we can mention “Tomorrow: London”, South London Gallery; “Histórias Mestiças”, Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo; “Abstract Ground”, solo show at Marian Cramer Projects, Amsterdam; “18th International Contemporary Art Festival SESC_Videobrasil: 30th Anniversary”, São Paulo; “Open Cube”, White Cube London.
