Saideira

The last exhibition of the year at Casa Triângulo is also the last exhibition held at its current space. Saideira celebrates the gallery’s changing of address with a selection of works from the collection. The show does not have a retrospective character; the curatorial nature is metaphorical and not historical.

The common thread is the process of transition, passage, and the metamorphic state of things. Landscapes, objects and people change. The relationship between them happens in a subtle way, maturing with time, shifting perspectives and possibilities of interpretation. At Saideira, artworks by represented artists from the gallery set a symbolic scenario of change, and construction. These are works that through a concept and/or specific visual aesthetics point to an evolving sequence, the development of a mutation.
