Samson Flexor: Traçados e Abstrações

The show, curated by Carmen Aranha, comprehends 35 paintings and drawings by the Samuel Flexor (1907, Moldava – 1971, Brazil) belonging to the museum’s collection.

The selection presents some key aspects to the artist’s trajectory, allowing the visitor to observe the plastic transformation that Flexor’s production surpassed between 1948 (when he started living in São Paulo) and 1960.

Five paintings are in the core of the show that emphasizes geometric abstraction.
