Uncertain Borders : Art and Photography in the MAC USP Collection

The core of this show is composed of 38 pieces incorporated to the museum’s collection in 1974, on occasion of the exhibition “Experimental Polish Photography”.

This set provides evidence to a period of intense debates, not only about the ruptures in the borders between art and photography, but also about the incipient presence of photos in museums and galleries in those times. The curatorship is signed by Helouise Costa.
