Hyundai Card Series: CHOIJEONGHWA

A ten-year annual project launched in 2014, with one prominent Korean artist selected each year to produce and exhibit a newly commissioned work. MMCA Hyundai Motor series announces the artist for 2018, CHOIJEONGHWA, and also the artistic director of PyeongChang 2018 following IM Heung-soon(2017). CHOIJEONGHWA has presented various installation with ordinary objects in every day such as plastic baskets, piggy-bank, balloon and etc. In 2018, the large scale of newly commissioned work changing the mass-produced object into artwork will be presented with the diverse participation of the audience.
