Tim Yip: Reformation

Power Station of Art, 200 Huayuangang Road

As a world-renowned visual director of movie, drama and stage play and stage art and costume designer, Tim Yip has created a number of visual miracles time and again. Based on his concept of “Neo-Orientalism”, his art works involve various artistic fields such as photography, video, sculpture and installation.

Sequent to the display in Amiens, an ancient French city, this current exhibition will continue with the artistic dialogue between the show and the exhibition site. Tim Yip combines the uniqueness of Shanghai with the Power Station of Art to present a visual feast featuring past and present, on-the-spot context and surroundings, drama and common public memory.
