Fost Gallery presents My Forest Has No Name by Donna Ong.

“My Forest Has No Name” explores humankind’s fascination with the tropical forest through time, and how our perception of it is shaped through verbal and pictorial descriptions. The exhibition traces our portrayal of the forest from colonial times into the present day through a series of artworks that merge antique prints, ready-mades, text with original artwork. In doing so, the exhibition hopes to reveal the various lenses through which we build our understanding and opinion of the forest and how that affects the way we think and deal with it.
