Superhero Me: Planet of Possibility

Superhero Me: The Special Edition presents “Planet of Possibility”, an experiential art show for children and the young-at-heart to make a stand for a more inclusive Singapore through socially engaged art.

Superhero Me is a values-based community arts movement that empowers children to develop a stronger sense of self and discover creative confidence. Initiated in 2014, Superhero Me has impacted the lives of numerous children across Singapore, where each child begins their journey by creating an original superhero persona.

The art show involves more than 60 children and youths aged 4 – 21 years old. They include the first batch of graduates from Lien Foundation’s Circle of Care Programme, students from Pathlight School’s Artist Development Programme, preschoolers from AWWA Kindle Garden (Singapore’s first inclusive preschool), Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School and MINDS Lee Kong Chian Gardens School.

During the period of the exhibition, there will be a series of crafting workshops, puppetry sessions, and storytelling sessions for all children to enjoy. The schedule and sign up details will be announced soon.
