Mit Träumen

The exhibition “mit träumen” explores dreams as a space of encounter between humans, animals and other non-human beings. Starting from the idea that dreams can open access to perspectives that remain closed in waking life, the exhibition invites new ways of thinking about the relationship between people, animals and the environment.

Dreams, speculative narratives, science fiction and “écriture automatique” play a central role in the works presented. The six artists engage with states of uncertainty and transformation, creating spaces of possibility for dialogue between different species. Against the backdrop of the climate crisis, the exhibition reflects on the need to expand existing modes of perception and thought.

“mit träumen” is inspired by the book “An das Wilde glauben” (2019) by the anthropologist Nastassja Martin, which describes experiences of shifting boundaries between human and non-human worlds.
