Are we capable of rescuing ourselves?
The question has inspired, pervasively, the unfolding of my artistic path. Scientific research on environmental matters portrays dramatic scenarios. The condition of Mankind and their interrelations with Nature is worsening, markedly.
I do believe an artist must observe reality and cause transformation in the attitude of the general public towards the urgencies of our time.
In Latin Sublimis stands for “the highest point”, as well as “beneath the mud”. Mankind has indeed reached the bottom, and must therefore focus on the element that plays the most relevant role in reaching new highs: Water.
Promoting knowledge of Water, a life-bearing element rather unknown to us; shedding light on scarcity and accessibility; protecting her from pollution. A process that unfolds as we speak and that exhibits objective data, juxtaposed to my artistic visions alongside that of artists, thinkers, visionaries, scientists that are coming aboard the project.
A synesthetic, multimedia experience to get people involved, and encourage the youngest to become proactive agents of change.
