Interno/Inner
"The Milky Way", a benefit group show, is supporting Pianoterra Onlus by exhibiting "Interno/Inner" in Galleria Franco Noero, Turin, on February 6 and 7 2020
“The Milky Way”, a benefit group show, is holding the fifth edition of its charity art projects. Running February 6 and 7 2020, “Interno/Inner” is the title of the exhibition curated by Damiana Leoni taking place in Galleria Franco Noero, Turin. International artists are displaying their works in the old, suggestive building of Piazza Carignano 2, which perfectly suits the theme chosen by the curator. Supporting Pianoterra Onlus since 2014 with almost 200 collaborating artists, this year “The Milky Way” focuses on the relationship between the inner state and its external conditions. Every artist can contribute to the fundraising for Pianoterra’s activities by donating their pieces of art, and incomes from the sales are meant to sustain pregnant women, new mothers and children lacking healthy and safe conditions. The public can also help provide them with new measures of care and can support people at risk by purchasing works from “The Milky Way”.
Currently, forty artists are supporting Pianoterra: Isabel Barber, Pierre Bismuth, Manuele Cerutti, Claudia Comte, Matteo Cordero, Sara Enrico, Jason Dodge, Jos de Gruyter & Harald Thys, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Petra Feriancova, Francesca Ferreri, Shay Frisch, Naoki Fuku, Martino Gamper, Silvia Giambrone, Teresa Giannico, Rodrigo Hernández, Sebastiano Impellizzeri, Eva Kot’átková, KIKKO, Renato Leotta, Tamara MacArthur, Daniele Milvio, Ignasi Monreal, Lulù Nuti, Marco Palmieri, Pietro Pasolini, Federico Pietrella, Benedetto Pietromarchi, Caterina Pini, Andrea Respino, Lili Reynaud-Dewar, Yves Scherer, Enrico Tealdi, Rirkrit Tiravanija e Tomas Vu, Grazia Toderi, Giovanni Vetere, Peter Wächtler.
