Marcello Maloberti: Circus Vitry

Circus Vitry captures a moment from the  installation work by Marcello Maloberti titled “Circus” (2012). The interactive piece consists of a situation recreated by the artist in a public space: under a tent, several hand mirrors are suspended from the ceiling, while a DJ plays music. The work intends to reflect upon moments and spaces of aggregation, creating a little luna-park and at the same time a new gathering point.

The work on view at GAM Torino is part of a diffused exhibition, involving all the museums part of AMACI, namely the association of contemporary art museums, which exhibit at the same time different pieces by the Italian artist, to spread the word about his performative practice.
