Michal Rovner: Alert

Israeli artist Michal Rovner’s solo exhibition “Alert” offers the public an immersive experience rooted in the artist’s work, evoking the themes and practices honed over the years.
In response to the refugees and displacement crisis, Rovner spent nights in dark fields, looking for an encounter with Jackals, the others, the hidden. The works reverberate an unfamiliar dimension, a sense of fear and alertness, primal powers and the night within us.
