Monica Bonvicini e Chalisée Naamani

The Pista 500, an artistic project by Pinacoteca Agnelli on the iconic FIAT test track atop Lingotto, curated by Sarah Cosulich and Lucrezia Calabro Visconti, adds two new installations by Monica Bonvicini and Chalisee Naamani from November 2024. These works join those by Thomas Bayrle, Julius von Bismarck, VALIE EXPORT, Sylvie Fleury, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Marco Giordano, Alicja Kwade, Louise Lawler, Finnegan Shannon, and SUPERFLEX.

Since its inauguration in 2022, Pista 500 has sparked unexpected conversations with its surroundings. Bonvicini presents a large neon installation titled “Come Run With Me” (2024), while Naamani’s work “My Mother Was My First Country” (2024) explores the propagandistic nature of advertising billboards.

This project engages with the architecture of the former FIAT factory and its urban context, embracing diverse sculptural languages, including environmental installations, light works, and expanded cinema projects, guiding visitors in a poetic exploration of the track’s transformation from a closed circuit to an open garden.
