Wo | Man Ray: Le seduzioni della fotografia

CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia pays homage to Man Ray, a great master of photography. The exhibition features two hundred photographs, produced from the 1920s in Paris, during the Dadaist and Surrealist season and until his death (in 1976).

The exhibition focuses on the female figure: the primary source of inspiration for his entire poetics, especially his work on photography. Those women include the leading female protagonists of Paris in the 1920s and ’30s, such as Gertrude Stein, Nancy Cunard, Sylvia Beach and Youki Foujita Desnos.
