Andrea Morucchio: Puzzling Project

Artist Andrea Morucchio presents a series of digital works under the title “Puzzling” made of thousands of photographic “tiles”. The tiny fragments represent parts of the mosaic floor of the Basilica of Saint Mark in Venice and details from moths’ wings; Morucchio position them so to compose new figures, reinterpreting in particular female iconic portraits by Leonardo da Vinci, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
