Architectural Landscapes
Galerie Negropontes, in partnership with Heritage Asset Management, presents Architectural Landscapes, an exhibition that unveils a unique architectural vision. The works of Gianluca Pacchioni, Pinton, and Perrin& Perrin engage in a compelling dialogue with the iconic spaces of the Palazzina Masieri, Carlo Scarpa’s masterpiece. As part of the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale, the exhibition explores the delicate interplay between contemporary creation and historic heritage, transforming the Palazzina into a dynamic stage where art and architecture converge, weaving a narrative of form, materiality, and continuity.
On the ground floor, the exhibition recreates an imaginary garden where Gianluca Pacchioni’s monumental sculptures dialogue with a lush tapestry crafted by the Pinton manufactory. Pacchioni’s sculptures evoke abstract desires and organic intentions, taking visitors into a complex sensory world where beauty keeps us alive against all forms of control and authority.
The first floor of the exhibition reveals a delicate interplay between the materiality of glass and Carlo Scarpa’s architectural legacy. Perrin & Perrin’s glass sculptures, depicting urban fragments and city plots, are displayed alongside a presentation of Scarpa’s distinctive geometries and graphics.
