Austin Camilleri: CHap(ə)l

Camilleri is a contemporary Maltese artist from Gozo, active on the international scene for over twenty-five years. His multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, video, and drawing. His work explores themes such as transience, memory, spirituality, and the relationship between humans, nature, and the non-human realm. Through a conceptual and poetic language, Camilleri combines diverse materials and media, creating works that invite critical, cultural, and existential reflection, often engaging with space and historical context.
