BORGOALIVE! #SmartNeighbourhood

The exhibition presents two parallel projects that are integrated into the urban and social regeneration ‘BORGOALIVE! model’ for Italian borghi (villages).

Donau-Universität Krems (Aus) | Curated by Prof. Arch. Roberto Pirzio-Biroli, the unedited research presents the selected projects for the reconstruction of the historic center of the Borgo di Accumoli (RI, Italy), according to the “participatory reconstruction methodology” already successfully implemented in Venzone (UD, Italy).

Borgo di Esino Lario (Lombardy, Italy) | The village in the province of Lecco presents the results of the upgrading and enhancement strategy implemented in recent years (according to the 9 Best Practices criteria identified by CEA: Forum | Recovery | Smart | Green | Mobility | Healthcare | Youth | Culture | Cooperative), obtaining the 1st BORGOALIVE! certification in Italy.

CEA – Concilio Europeo dell’Arte (Venice, Italy) | Presents the ‘BORGOALIVE! Certificate’ for all small Italian municipalities that intend to implement and communicate their reactivation path, undertaken in compliance with the 9 Best Practices elaborated by CEA and the ‘I M ITALY’ digital development plan project: the BORGOLIVE! Editorial Platform and the Application to support the production, management and dissemination of the opportunities and services offered by CEA to the Italian borghi
