Breasts
Reflecting on a range of themes Breasts explores how breasts act as a catalyst to discuss socio-political realities, challenge historical traditions and express personal and collective identities.
The show features a curated collection of artworks that spans various mediums, displaying the creativity and innovation of more than 30 international artists – including Sarah Lucas, Nobuyoshi Araki, Marcel Duchamp, and Cindy Sherman – in capturing the essence and symbolism of breasts.
Reflecting on a range of themes it explores how breasts act as a catalyst to discuss socio-political realities, challenge historical traditions and express personal and collective identities.
From classical representations to contemporary expressions, Breasts aims to foster a thoughtful dialogue around the cultural, social, and artistic significance of this subject.
Beyond celebrating artistic expression, Breasts carries a purpose – raising awareness for breast cancer. In alignment with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a portion of the proceeds from this exhibition will be dedicated to supporting reputable breast cancer foundations including BCRF and Fondazione IEO-Monzino.
