Bruno Alfieri: 1948 – 1973

Mare Karina, 3200 Campo de le Gate

Curators: Chiara Carrera and Mario Lupano
Mare Karina presents “Bruno Alfieri: 1948–1973”, an exhibition celebrating 25 years of the career of Bruno Alfieri (Naples, 1927 – Milan, 2008), a pioneer in art and architecture publishing. During his time in Venice, Alfieri founded groundbreaking magazines such as Zodiac, Lotus, and Metro, which redefined editorial practices with innovative formats, international collaborations, and critical excellence. The exhibition, presented in Venice on the occasion of the 19th Architecture Biennale, showcases rare periodicals, catalogs, and archival materials. It will subsequently travel to Parsons Paris in autumn 2025.
