Byron Gago: Aguas Negras

“Aguas Negras” is a fictional journey in the form of a video-graphic work that integrates years of work and field observation in different locations. The reconstitution of affective geographies was inspired by the artist’s personal experience as a migrant, offering an opportunity to reconsider his relationship with different territories and understand the recurring political implications that define his relationship with the landscape.
