Walking with Art – Stonefly Art Prize 2015

Stonefly, an Italian company leader in innovative shoes’ production, restore for the sixth year its collaboration with Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, an observation point for the most interesting artistic experiences in Triveneto inviting Atelier 2015’s artists to partecipate at the new edition of the competition “Walking with Art Stonefly Art Prize”.

The main theme is “Dance Dance Dance”, from the book edit in 1988 by the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. Artists are called to interpret the interior sensation that makes possible doing choices and wake up from a condition of existential uncertainty, how suggested by the guide-image of this edition, curated by Claudia Rossini.

The artworks selected by the jury (composed by the producer Alessandra Galletta, the co-director of Peep-Hole in Milan Bruna Roccasalva, the independent curator Marco Tagliafierro and the curator and teacher Alice Ginaldi) have been realized thanks to the sponsorship of Stonefly and will be on view for a week at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in the gallery of San Marco square in Venice. 

The prize winner of Walking with Art Stonefly Art Prize 2015, whose artwork will be acquired by Stonefly for his collection, will exhibit in a solo show at Viafarini DOCVA in Milan next spring.
