Filippo Romano: Archivio Naturale
The exhibition presents a selection of works by Filippo Romano, whose practice explores photography as a tool for constructing alternative visions of reality. Each image fixes a precise yet destabilising possibility of the world – a moment that lingers in memory and reshapes our perception of what surrounds us.
Romano approaches the world as a layered ecosystem in which human presence constantly interacts with animal, mineral, aquatic, and vegetal forms. His photographs reveal how the particular and the universal can coexist within a single frame, capturing both the specific atmosphere of a place and our shared collective condition. Subtle, incisive, and quietly ironic, his images act as fragile yet vital points of orientation within a time marked by transformation and uncertainty.
