Form and Space – Concetti Spaziali

Coinciding with the 57th Venice Biennale, La Galleria presents the works of ten internationally renowned artists from six countries in its exhibition.

The exhibition’s title refers to the artist Lucio Fontana, who named an extensive part of his works “Concetto Spaziale” (Spatial Concept). This new artistic concept was realized in the 50ies by transforming the painting into a three-dimensional relief by perforating the canvas. In the show different materials like steel, neon, canvas, paper, wood, plexiglas are showing the beauty and diversity following this idea.
