FORTUNY + CHAHAN with a selection of works by Pierre Sabatier

Expanding on last year’s collaboration, FORTUNY + CHAHAN deepens the conversation between modern artistry and Fortuny’s masterful craftsmanship. This year’s installation explores the dynamic interplay of design, space, and materiality, seamlessly blending Minassian’s refined curation with Fortuny’s iconic textiles. Presented in conjunction with the Venice Biennale, the exhibition welcomes collectors, connoisseurs, and industry professionals for private guided tours.

The 2025 edition highlights architectural elements, transforming the Palazzina into an immersive environment where design and art converge. Minassian’s scenographic vision unfolds in a residential atmosphere, integrating a selection of furniture, architectural artworks, and accessories with Fortuny’s legendary fabrics—from timeless historical motifs to contemporary designs, including the newly introduced ARMONIA collection. This collection is designed by Minassian in collaboration with Fortuny’s creative director and co-owner, Mickey Riad, and Fortuny’s creative team.

A defining feature of this year’s installation is the inclusion of Pierre Sabatier’s rare sculptural walls, anchoring each room in a dialogue between material, form, and texture. These striking architectural pieces harmonise with the Armonia collection, whose patterns draw inspiration from architectural scale and mineral palettes, reflecting Minassian’s distinct aesthetic while honouring Fortuny’s legacy.

Further elevating the installation, Minassian’s meticulous curation brings together Fortuny’s textiles, Sabatier’s sculptures, and the work of Harumi Klossowska de Rola, creating a layered exploration of artistic and design excellence. The result is a compelling synthesis of contemporary vision and timeless craftsmanship—a testament to Chahan Minassian’s signature approach, seamlessly intertwined with Fortuny’s enduring spirit of innovation.
