Glass Art in Dialogue / Arte del vetro in dialogo

The exhibition aims at promoting glass as an autonomous means of expression within the context of contemporary art. The two artists, Marija Jaensch and Amy Thai, had already collaborated during the 60th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, participating in the collective project “H2O Venezia: Diari d’acqua / Water Diaries”, a tribute to the city and its natural environment. For this exhibition Marija Jaensch and Amy Thai engaged with glass and Murano’s artisinal heritage for the first time, experimenting with the material and integrating it into their artistic language.

The exhibition showcases new glass works and unpublished works alongside pieces previously shown for the 2024 Biennale project. In a dialogue between forms and materials, glass interacts with stone and fabric in a dynamic interplay of stylistic and poetic solutions.
