H2O Venezia: Water Diaries

The group exhibition follows an artist-in-residence program for which five emerging artists were selected from around the world, to prepare a visual account of Venice based on first-hand experience.
Venice, built on more than 100 islands and connected by picturesque canals and waterways, forms the leitmotif of the “Water Diaries“, the artistic creations that were directly inspired by the city and which carry authentic experiences, thoughts, and feelings. The “Water Diaries” are narrated in single works or conceived as larger series; while they preserve their individual characters through their distinctive appearance, they correspond to one another through the central theme.
