Inspired by the cemetery island of San Michele, one of the most evocative places in Venice, this exhibition embarks on an artistic journey through several intimate themes. Privacy, mourning, seclusion are addressed by Hernan Bas‘ sensitive eye in a contemporary fashion. His large-scale works on paper let the audience reflect on the most excruciating moments of life from an innovative perspective that enhances an inner enquiry in the viewer.
