Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future
“Homo Faber” is the first major cultural exhibition dedicated to European craftsmanship. It aims to highlight the skills, knowledge and creativity of Europe’s finest artisans and designers.
The exhibition counts 14 event spaces, each dedicated to a different aspect of craftsmanship, each imagined by a world-class team of designers, curators and architects. Thought as an immersive experience allowing visitors to meet artisans and watch them work in real time, this is the largest exhibition ever held at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
The exhibition is organised by Michelangelo Foundation –an international non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland – and supported by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Triennale Design Museum
