Il profumo del tempo

The first curatorial project by Cecilia Larese and Bianca Pedron, the exhibition features the works of three artists and one duo: Lorena Bucur (Cremona, 1996), Matteo Rattini (Padova, 2001), Guendalina Urbani (Rome, 1992), and Calori & Maillard (an artistic duo formed in 2009 by Letizia Calori and Violette Maillard). Through the exhibited works, the curators explore the concept of time in contemporary society, which is driven by the relentless pursuit of productivity. However, time begins to take on a “scent” when it gains duration, acquires narrative tension, and deepens in meaning.

“Il profumo del tempo” is an invitation to embrace slowness, to pause and deeply immerse oneself in the works of artists, experiencing them with full and profound attention, reclaiming a suspension of time to fully enjoy art in all its forms and once again perceive its scent.
