In Praise of Black Errantry
Unit London, supported by The Courtauld Institute of Art, presents a group exhibition that explores the radical Black imagination and celebrates the poetics of errantry as an aesthetic and imaginative possibility. Curated by Indie A. Choudhury (The Courtauld Institute of Art) with assistant curator Kelsey Corbett (Unit), the exhibition takes its name from the Martinique-born French writer and philosopher Édouard Glissant (1928–2011), who proposed errantry as a form of freedom and resistance.
