Jewel: Matriclysm An Archeology of Connections Lost

The exhibition examines themes of femininity, power, and ecological consciousness, while focusing on personal and global memory. The presentation serves as a reflection on the possibility of reconnection with oneself, others, and the wider world. The installation comprises shifting sculptural forms, rhythmic soundscapes, myth-inspired textiles, and paintings, as well as data-driven works.

The entire exhibition is accompanied by a soundtrack featuring original music and voicework by Jewel. The audio ranges from abstract to melodic elements and is informed by close observations of the seas and stars. The data for these compositions is gathered from oceanographic sensors and celestial mathematical observation.
