Lost for Words: John Furnival and Astrid Furnival

John Furnival is a pioneer of ‘maximalist’ Visual Poetry who has frequently worked with members of the Fluxus group, and in collaboration with his wife Astrid – a textile artist. The exhibition presents John’s drawings, prints and collages from over 50 years, with a particular focus on his collaborations with Astrid since the Seventies. This has resulted in her producing many text-based knitted garments using natural dyes.
