Marco Agostinelli: 1998- 2023. 25 anni di VideoArte ed Installazioni

The exhibition presents several works by Agostinelli, from his experimental beginnings with his video art at the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the National Gallery in Washington, to the galvanised sheet metal and silk works presented at the Rocca Paolina Exhibition Centre in Perugia in 2003.

During this long journey, many stages will be presented to the public at Palazzetto Tito, starting with the multi-award-winning video Cuore di Cane (Dog’s Heart), which, in addition to being exhibited as a video, will also be presented in its nine silver reflex techno-paintings. The video Nato presented at the Locarno Festival, at the Viper Film Festival in Basel, at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto and at InVideo in Milan will be exhibited. Finally, there will be the seven works presented only once at the 2011 Venice Biennale, entitled Guerre, Solitudini, Resurrezioni ed altre Epifanie.
