Massimo Micheluzzi al Negozio Olivetti

The exhibition presents some thirty mosaic vases that Massimo Micheluzzi has created since 2022, in a close dialogue with the architecture of the Negozio Olivetti, a masterpiece by Carlo Scarpa and an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist.

While acknowledging that Scarpa’s mastery of Venetian glass is difficult to equal, the comparison for Massimo Micheluzzi is not played out on the “glass material” but rather on the essence of Scarpa’s architectural language and on the profound bond for Venice and its deep-rooted traditions.
