Open Process

Open Process is an invite to enter the newly born Lo studio – Everything I Want in Zattere, a place where international artists, designers and artisans meet with creatives based in Venice and contact the city by showing their works and the paths that lead them to their production.

This inaugural exhibition presents handblown Murano glass and marble sculptures by Irene Cattaneo and functional art pieces “Rough Models” by duo Antonio Davanzo and Victor Miklos – a project developing hybrid results between hand crafted and computer generated material. The artists have settled in Venice where they find a network of makers to allow them to manifest their artistic vision.

The exhibition present new works of each artists including in-situ installations created to respond to the architecture of the space. The show echoes the claim of the Architecture Biennale 2023 to imagining a more equitable and optimistic future. Open Process will continue to develop throughout the months as artists deepen their relationship with the space and the dialogue between each other.
