Opera Viva: The Ateliers of Bevilacqua La Masa 2018-2019
The exhibition is dedicated to the works of young artists, protagonists of the ateliers of Bevilacqua La Masa. The ateliers, used since the early twentieth century, today are located in Palazzo Carminati and in the complex of SS. Cosma and Damiano in the Giudecca and host fourteen young artists each year. Chiara Calore, Giorgia Agnese Cereda, Jonathan Colombo, Diego De Marco, Silvia Faresin, Anna Marzuttini, Stefania Mazzola, Margherita Muriti, Marta Naturale, Giada Pianon, Paolo Pretolani, Ginevra Scialpi, Giacomo Segantin, Eva Chiara Trevisan are the young assignees who, with the works created specifically for this occasion, conclude their period of residence. Also on display is the artistic project of Cristina Cusani, a finalist in the third edition of the Smartup Optima Competition. This exhibition represents the continuity of a story that has made this institution and its mission unique in Italy and in Europe.
