Personal Structures: Beyond Boundaries – Marinaressa Gardens

Marinaressa Gardens are the outdoor venue of  the seventh edition of Personal Structures, the biennial art exhibition organized by the European Cultural Centre (ECC) in Venice.

This year’s theme, “Beyond Boundaries“, explores the complexities of global migration, national identities, and the interconnectedness of contemporary society.

At this venue, Yoko Ono showcases an installation that imagines and hopes for utopian world peace. The gardens also feature British acclaimed sculptor Emily Young, who presents a series of sculptures made from stones found in abandoned quarries. Offering diverse artistic perspectives, the exhibition encourage reflection and conversations about today’s pressing global issues.
