Pesi Massimi

After the extraordinary high tide that hit the city of Venice the 12th November 2019,  Spazio Punch decided to reinvent itself with a residency hosting eleven artists of the Fondazione Malutta. The exhibition “Pesi Massimi” represents the outputs of the residency, a group show where the works developed over the last months can finally meet the public.

Fondazione Malutta counts more than thirty artists between 20 and 35 years old. Age, native languages and creative tools, often very different ones, are boundaries that the group constantly challenges: a confluence of cultures, genres and heterogeneous sensibilities apt to foster collective research. The geographies of the artists of Fondazione Malutta reach many countries, to land finally in Venice, a city that – like art – is allergic to every border.
