Point of Interrupted Departures

Three internationally acclaimed artists from Dubrovnik, Izvor Pende, Slaven Tolj and Marijana Pende, showcase their new works, specially made for this show, in the grandiose space of Tese 100, Arsenale Nord.
The group show organised by the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik and curated by Jelena Tamindžija, represents a fulfilment of the Venice-Dubrovnik town twinning agreement of 2012 that puts forward the agenda of strengthening cultural exchanges between sister cities.

As a part of the project, a special symposium will be held on June 23, 2019 touching upon topics of the contemporary society that actively participate in reshaping current global and local policies. The special guests for the symposium scheduled for June are theoretician and theatre director Angela Richter, and the New York based performance artist Martha Wilson.
