Rebecca Moccia: Fireworks
The exhibition is an episode of a larger project started with “Cuore” at Toast Project Space in Florence and continued with the artist’s intervention in the context of the Opera Viva a Barriera, Turin project. Characterized by thematic repetitions, digressions, and a myth-poetic intention, the project aims to be a generational narrative with multiple voices on the artist’s work. In this context the firework stands as a metaphor for the figure of the artist and his work, explosive and ephemeral, which in an enchanting and shining flash is consumed and remains in the eyes; an ancient show, full of mythology that, even if in an anachronistic way, still surprises and impresses us.
The exhibition, curated by Christian Caliandro, is characterized by a hybrid narrative in which objects, texts, communication and actions follow each other, presenting themselves as devices for creating narrative situations.
