Roman Opalka and Mariateresa Sartori: Dire il tempo
Starting with a first chapter in Milan at Building gallery, “Roman Opałka: Dire il tempo“, is an exhibition project in two chapters curated by Chiara Bertola.
The rooms of the Casa Museo of Querini Stampalia Foundation host Opałka’s works and the ones of Mariateresa Sartori. The venetian chapter is especially important for the critical knowledge of the artist because it brings for the first time together the two fondamental works of the whole “OPALKA 1965 / 1-∞” program. At Querini Stampalia Foundation is exposed “Alfa and Omega“, the first and the last work of the Détail series, finally assembled for the first time. Together with these fundamental paintings there is the series of photographic self portrait of the artist and the sound recording of his voice.
