Richard Meitner: Schizzi Selvaggi

Richard Meitner after more than fifty years of a brilliant artistic career, here is presenting new and intriguing works. The artist has worked for decades with glass combining it in surprising ways with other materials. He has lived an impressive career also as a highly respected professor in art education. First he was in charge of the glass department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, than he was appointed to the faculty for science and technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and continues there. In 2016 he earned a PhD from the University of Lisbon, Belas Artes. His artworks are included in the collections of 60 museums throughout the world.
