Thank You for Coming

“Thank You for Coming” is a showcase exhibition that invites us to rethink our relationship with objects as opportunities for encounter, listening, and transformation. The project takes the form of a bazaar displaying furniture, ornaments, clothing, fragments of domestic life, and materials collected over time, donated by the Venetian community and subsequently regenerated by artists and designers active in the lagoon area. “Thank You for Coming” thus unfolds as a landscape of heterogeneous presences that questions our relationship with what we collect, discard, recover, or simply desire.

Conceived and curated by Edoardo Lazzari and Claudio Piscopo, the project took shape through an open call that gathered and selected 22 memorabilia, which were then entrusted to 22 artists and designers.
