TITANS: Un dialogo tra materiali, spazio e tempo
The first major sculpture exhibition by Wallace Chan, a multidisciplinary Chinese artist
“TITANS: A dialogue between materials, space and time”, curated by James Putnam, presents a series of monumental titanium and iron sculptures and an immersive site-specific installation composed of titanium and stainless steel, offering an investigation on Chan’s sculptural work. This new body of works illustrates Chan’s interest in the relation between materials, space and time.
The exhibition at Fondaco Marcello – which is also viewable online through a virtual tour – is accompanied by interviews with the artist and other behind-the-scenes contents. Online, the public is able to see the preview of the new film, made by award-winning director Martina Margaux Cozzi, dedicated to the extraordinary life and work of Chan. The will be released later in 2021.
